I’m Bree, the owner of At Home With Bree Interior Designs, and I’ve been in this design game for a short period of time, although I’ve always had the design bug.

Hello and welcome to At home with Bree. I am so glad you’ve stumbled across my little blog! I love working to create a beautiful, thriving home and life, and helping others do the same. Thanks for Stopping by!

I’m Bree, the owner of At Home With Bree Interior Designs, and I’ve been in this design game for a short period of time, although I’ve always had the design bug. Other than being a business owner, I’m a wife to a wonderful man that I absolutely adore and a mother to 3 wild little munchkins. To say I’m blessed would be an understatement.

If you know me then you know that I’m a lover of list! IDK if it’s the perfectionist in me, but I love seeing facts numbered. So of course I found it fitting that I do a “Facts List” all about me to help my followers learn a few things that they wouldn’t normally know, so let’s get started:

I was previously in the Dental Field before I switched to Design!

Yes, you read that right.

Before starting a business in Interior Design I was a certified dental assistant in school to become a dental hygienist. Being a dental hygienist was something I thought I always wanted to do until one day while talking with God I realized I didn’t want work to feel like work anymore. I wanted to take a chance and do something I was truly passionate about, and just like that I dropped hygiene school and changed careers, and It’s the best decision I’ve ever made!

We are a currently a Constant Moving Family

We recently moved from our first ever home! We lived there for 5 years, and boy did it hurt to leave. My husband started a new career which meant it was time to move. We will still be moving place to place for the next 2 years until he gets fully certified in his field. The good new about that is I get to bring you guys along for the ride and you get to watch me turn each house into a home (even if it is temporary)!

I never in a million years thought I would be a mom to boys, but I wouldn’t change a thing!

I’m a total diva who loves all things pink and girly, so of course I thought I would have a house full of girls. I couldn’t have been more wrong and I’m glad that I was! God blessed us with three precious little boys, Alex, Liam, and Carter who completely fill my heart with love, laughter, and insanity. I love every minute of the insanity!

So my days now mostly consist of all things Avengers, Wrestling, Paw Patrol, and Action Figures, but hey a girl can still dream about rainbow's, sparkles and tutu's just on my own time!

I'm a Total INTROVERT and I HATE IT!

I’ve always been a very shy person, and I’ve always been more comfortable staying to myself. I prefer to be in the house with my family than out the house with whoever. It’s a trait that I hate and I’m working hard to change.

Becoming a Interior designer has made me come out of my shell a bit more than I normally do, because my line of work deals directly with people.

I’m a work in progress y’all! God is not through with me yet!

I ALMOST lost My Husband, in a Motorcycle Accident

By far the scariest day of my life was October 2012. I’m 8 1/2 months pregnant with Alex (my oldest) In the house wondering why the hell my husband (then boyfriend) was out so late…

It wasn’t like him to do something like that. The next morning I get a phone call saying he had been in a motorcycle accident and was in ICU! I felt sick! My heart sank into my stomach! That was the scariest feeling I have ever felt! Thankfully he pulled through, but did injure his right arm and a few nerves in the process resulting in “Brachial Plexis Injury.”

7 years have passed since I got that phone call. I just think God everyday for sparing his life, I couldn’t imagine life without my best friend.

Seven is my Lucky Number!

Seven has always been a lucky number for me ever since I was a little girl and even into adulthood it’s been a meaningful number. My husband and I got married on 07/07 just so I could have 2 sevens in my wedding date.

So, now that you know how much I love the number 7, I think it’s only fitting that I end this list here at 7 facts.
